There has been a demand for electric or battery powered riding mowers and Weibang have answered with the impressive WB81 or Intrepid iON 81RC, as it’s known. The Weibang iON 81RC is perfect for lawns where using a walk behind mower is just too time consuming. The overall width of 85 cm means it can fit through narrow entrances and gates that rule out larger lawn tractors. It is packed with features to benefit the user as they go about mowing. The iON 81RC has an 81cm (32 inch) cutting width and uses 2 cutter blades for the best cut. The cutting heights can be set to 10 positions from 25 – 130 mm so you can choose the correct height according to the conditions. With the battery fully charged you can mow for up to 2.5 hours whilst enjoying the comfortable raised driving position and adjustable seat. Pop the mower into cruise control and you’ll be done in no time at all. You might not want to get off. A variable e-drive, simple pedal operation and clear control panel further enhance driver comfort and usability. The variable e-drive allows for speeds up to 6.5 km/h and a nifty 5 km/h in reverse. Mowing functions of cut & collect and mulching are available. The grass collector has a 190l capacity and a mulch plug has been included for versatility.
