The Greenworks GD40CS15 cordless chainsaw has a brushless motor which is powered by either a 2Ah or 4Ah 40v lithium-ion battery. The GD40CS15 has a 40cm / 16 inch guide bar and uses Oregon chain. The GD40CS15 has enough power to cut branches with ease and on one full charge can cut 150 10 x 10 pieces of wood. Can cut up to 30″ logs. Battery powered chainsaws are quiet and produce fewer emissions than petrol models. They give the freedom to move around without mains electric cables so all areas of the lawn and garden can be reached. The powerful DigiPro brushless motor can give true petrol performance with no carbon emissions. The brushless motor delivers up to 30% more torque and can reduce vibration by up to 70%.The automatic oiler applies chain oil to the bar and chain which extends the life of the chain and provides durability. There is a cushioned grip on the handle for more comfortable use and a translucent oil tank so you can tell how much oil you are using. One battery is designed to fit all the 40v gardening tools in the Greenworks range.
