The Swift 372e is a great addition to the Stiga range of battery powered compact ride-on mowers. With an overall width of 90cm it’s ideal for those gardens where access is restricted. This Essential level sit-on offers the user an easy to use machine with straightforward functions and superb cutting performance. Battery powered ride-on mowers are becoming increasingly popular as consumers move away from reliance on petrol and diesel fuels. Not only are these battery mowers quieter to operate they are cheaper to run and a cleaner greener alternative to traditional petrol engine models. To achieve the best finish the cutting heights can be adjusted through 6 positions from 30 – 80mm. An optional mulch kit is available to purchase so you can turn the Swift into a mulching machine. The kit will cut and re-cut the grass cuttings into a fine mulch which is perfect for feeding the lawn and retaining moisture during dry periods. The mulch is deposited directly back onto the lawn. Mulching is recommended when the grass is shorter in dry conditions. The transmission drive is pedal-operated electric so it’s just a case of increasing pressure to go faster and easing off to slow down. The batteries are shareable throughout the Stiga 500, 700 and 900 range of garden tools. The maximum working area recommended by Stiga is 2000 sqm.
